Post #188- WOW, uma notícia gigante

|
Olá puebs, tudo bem? Como foram de final de semana? Espero que bem. Eu descansei, vi 2 filmes excelentes ("No Country for Old Men" e "Atonement") e domingo sofri como todo bom discrente deve em dia de Sunday Majors.

Hi folks -
Yes, it's true that I've joined Cardrunners as the COO.

My wife and I have had a great time in Europe, and I had a blast working for John Duthie and the EPT. But you know, England isn't home to us, and it was time to get back.

When I started looking around for opportunities in the U.S., I spoke to Taylor, and from the outset it felt great. He's a super sharp guy, as are Andrew and Brian.

The more we talked, the more it seemed like a good fit. They're young, energetic, and want to build a great business. I'm not as young, not as energetic, but I've been around the poker block 2-3 times, and the business block a few times more than that. I've seen a lot of good and bad management decisions in my time and have worked out why good and bad things happen to companies.

We ultimately decided that my experience and background was a good complement to their youth, energy, and talent.

So here I am.

To be extremely clear about this:
I no longer work for PokerStars or the EPT. My departure from both was amicable and I still have many friends in both organizations.
I will be doing day-to-day operations at Cardrunners. This is not an endorsement deal or anything like it. I'm here to work hard at producing the best possible poker instruction online.

I will definitely be making regular appearances at the poker forums. I dig the poker forum community a lot.

Anyway, I look forward to interacting with many of you online. Also, I'll be at the WSOP and various other live events - be sure to come say hi and introduce yourself if you see me.

Best regards,
Lee Jones
COO, Cardrunners LLC

Wow, just wow...
