Weekly Round 2 results
Whilst the Olympics burst into life over in China the smaller flame of the Weekly Round 2 events shone just as brightly as players from around the world competed for poker gold. It was a Germanic one-two last weekend with an Austrian and a German taking honours.
First it was Austrian ‘bbberni’ on Saturday, ahead of 702 players who won money for nothing. ‘bbberni’ took $287.60 for his efforts. Whilst on Sunday a slightly more modest sum of $276 was taken down by German player ‘sender z’, with a total 802 players receiving something for playing ahead of thousands more.
