2008 World Series: Griffin and McEvoy gaining momentum
A few days after the 2008 World Series got underway and already Team PokerStars Pro are counting the cash. Triple Crown winner and one of the new boys to Team PokerStars Pro Gavin Griffin finished 251st from a starting field of 4,000, picking up a ragged looking $3,754 – good for a couple of buy-ins.
Former World Champion Tom McEvoy’s slow start to this year’s series has picked up a step or two with a cash finish in the bag in Event #3 the $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold’em – 25th place worth $5,547.
Congratulations to all of them.
